Halotestin (fluoxymesterone) is an oral anabolic-androgenic steroid used to treat male hypogonadism (low testosterone), delayed puberty in boys, and certain breast cancers in women. It acts by increasing androgen levels and suppressing estrogen, but carries risks of severe side effects including liver toxicity, severe acne, mood changes (rage), fluid retention, and virilization in females.
